Fizz fashion show raises 400 pounds for ALEX project
The Fizz fashion show was a great success, raising £400 for the ALEX project. The cheque was presented to George Hill, Chairman of Macclesfield & District Parkinsons UK, who said "It is because of the kind interest of groups and people of your like mindedness that we survive. My responsibility and objective as Chairman of the ALEX and The Macclesfield Branch of Parkinsons UK is to ensure that such a facility as the ALEX remains viable and indeed available to all who suffer from this horrible affliction for good. It is totally free of charge to the patient and their carer. We are the only such set up in the whole of the UK to provide this contribution to enable a better life for people with Parkinsons. A warm and heart felt thank you to all your `Circlers` for your fine efforts with the fashion show you held for us!"
