Swap Your Make-up for a Pudsey Pawprint on Friday 8th November

**DIARY DATE - CHILDREN IN NEED**

SWAP YOUR MAKE-UP FOR A PUDSEY PAWPRINT ON FRIDAY 8TH NOVEMBER

Calling women from across the UK to take part in BBC Children in Need’s BearFaced Day

This year, BBC Children in Need are asking women across the UK to join Laura Whitmore, Arlene Philips and a host of other famous faces by going BearFaced for BBC Children in Need on Friday 8th November.

The BearFaced Campaign involves women swapping their make up for a Pudsey Pawprint for just one day and asking their friends, family and colleagues to sponsor them.  The money raised through the Campaign will help change the lives of disadvantaged children and young people living right here in the UK.

Arlene Philips said: “I’m going BearFaced, are you? Ladies, let’s make a difference to the lives of children across the UK by removing our make up for the day – it really couldn’t be simpler!”

Laura Whitmore said: “Girls, come on let’s do something really great for BBC Children in Need and go BearFaced on Friday 8 November.”

Going BearFaced is a simple way to help raise money for BBC Children in Need. Women can either participate alone or set up a BearFaced team with friends, family and colleagues to make the day more fun.

The Pawprints as seen on Arlene and Laura are available now at Post Offices across the UK.  Women are encouraged to swap their makeup for a Pawprint to help make a difference to young lives.

No7 is supporting women to ensure their skin is ready to go BearFaced, from 1 – 9 November a donation to BBC Children in Need will be made on every purchase of the No7 skincare range available exclusively at Boots stores across the UK.

Sarah Monteith, Director of Marketing and Fundraising BBC Children in Need said; “BBC Children in Need is delighted to be bringing BearFaced back in 2013.  This is a lovely, simple initiative that women across the UK can take part in and help raise money for disadvantaged children and young people who need our help.”
