Dereham Ladies Support STEPS Charity
Dereham and District Ladies Circle met up at Cocos Cafe for coffee and cake in the heart of East Dereham's market town on Saturday 30th May to present Coco's owner Jess Smith with £100 for STEPS charity.
STEPS is a national charity supporting children and adults affected by a lower limb condition such as clubfoot or a hip condition. Jess’ son, Finn, was born with Fibular Hemamelia. Jess said “After talking to people on the STEPS forums we decided to make a specific Facebook group set up for families affected by Fibular Hemamelia to support each other along our little ones journeys. I can’t imagine going through this without these amazing families.”
Allison Burrell, Chairman of Dereham Ladies Circle 2014-15 said “STEPS is such a great charity and it is great for Circle to be able to offer support where we can. Hopefully this donation will help other children and their families.”
