Dereham Ladies Support Charity Gymkhana
Lime Kiln Farm Equestrian Centre hosted a special charity show-jumping event on a particularly sunny Sunday 21st May 2017. The event, organised in conjunction with, and supported by Dereham and District Ladies Circle, saw a number of competitors come from far and wide to take part, with all proceeds going to two different charities: Scotty’s Little Soldiers and Cancer Research.
All prizes were donated by local businesses and a special prize was awarded for the best military fancy dress; which saw a number of competitors and their equine companions get in the spirit of the day, donning their best uniforms and camouflage gear.
As a result £425 was raised for each charity, adding to the £700 already raised for Scotty’s Little Soldiers by Dereham and District Ladies Circle as part of their annual Christmas Sleigh event.
Much thanks goes to all those involved in helping to organise such a well-attended and successful event!
