Bramhall Circle get creative
On 22nd March we had our, what is becoming, annual craft night and what a success it was. We took ourselves back to our childhood and turned up armed with children’s boxes of craft sets, card making sets and wooden spoons which were supposed to miraculously turn into princesses... After numerous failed attempts at some ambitious creations, we decided to let Ali (who designs cards in her spare time) help us with making some cards. I went with the whole less is more theme in order to reduce the amount of mistake I could make! Whereas Vikki was determined to get every cool deckchair, sunshine, palm tree, crab she possibly could fit on her card. It did turn out very tasteful in the end - well done Vikki!
Our most recent event was a seed growing competition where we each planted sunflower seeds and we have decided on taking pictures in 6 weeks and decide on the winner. We ended up planting 5 seeds in each pot to maximise our chances of at least one surviving - so fingers crossed! Although I think Natalie is at a slight advantage with having a gardener for a boyfriend.
Our next event is now our first AGM which I mentioned in our last post. Very exciting and scary at the same time. We will keep you all updated on how it goes
