Ladies Circle is a UK and Ireland-wide friendship club for women aged 18 to 45 — and we'd love for you to be part of it! With around 65 local Circles up and down Great Britain and Ireland, we're one of the UK's leading women's social clubs, bringing together women from every background, walk of life and corner of the country to make new friends, try new things and give something back to their local community. Our History
It all started over 90 years ago in Bournemouth, as the sister association to Round Table — and what began as one small group of women has blossomed into one of the UK's largest and most-loved women's social networks. Turns out, when women support each other, incredible things happen!
Our roots go back to during and just after wartime Britain, when a group of women came together to support their local Bournemouth community in whatever way they could. But it quickly became something more — a warm, welcoming space where women could build real friendships, socialise, and grow together, no matter what life was throwing at them. Nearly a century on, that same spirit is still at the heart of every Circle today.
Circle Today
Today, Ladies' Circle is a nationwide network of women aged 18-45, meeting up twice a month to get out of the house, try new things, and build friendships that go the distance. Every Circle sets its own pace and personality, but the thread running through all of them is the same: good company, a bit of fun, and a genuine sense of belonging. We're not exclusively a charity organisation, but giving back to our local communities remains close to our hearts, and many Circles get stuck into fundraising and volunteering alongside the socialising. Whether it's a night out, a hands-on project, or picking up new event and leadership skills along the way, Ladies' Circle is there for whatever stage of life you're at — proof that nearly a century later, women supporting women is still what we do best.
